SoulShine has been in operation for almost 20 years but with no digital presence at all. We devised an all-inclusive marketing plan to place SoulShine in as many directories, accounts, spaces and niches as possible.

A New Brand From the Ground Up

Gone are the days when the only people who knew about your small business were your neighbors or customers who picked your number out of the phone book. Many kids these days don’t even know what a phone book is. With a website, consumers expect businesses and companies to be found on Google by anyone, anywhere, at any time. That’s where we come in. And thanks to companies like Red O, even many small Long Island business owners can achieve global visibility.

This branding strategy started with a thorough discussion of the goals for the sober house’s and then we molded it slightly to differentiate it from other local sober houses. SoulShine’s USP placed it in its own category – far ahead of its competitors – making their truly USP the natural focal point for our marketing efforts. They have a farm – with real actual animals – on their premises. No other sober house on Long Island can say that.

SoulShine’s raison d’etre is to provide safe housing for those in early recovery. They used real science and real research to build their recovery programs so we were able to easily back each of their claims with science-based findings and then translate that into the art that became their housing, their brand and eventually their website.

Increase Internet Presence

SoulShine had not entered the digital arena (despite being in business for 2 decades). We needed to create a robust website, make custom email accounts, get custom phone numbers, create intake forms, get all their Google accounts, build a backlinking program and perfect their GoDaddy website on technical by SEO standards in order to compete – right away with their more established competitors digitally.  We did just that. The site launched in July and every bed was full in a week.
