Red O Web Design

Problem: The LIL website wasn't representing the company positively.
Solution: A website rebuild to bring vitality back to the LIL brand.

LI Lumberjack had not paid much attention to their old, outdated website. This was a major faux pas that a lot of companies make. Little did they realize that their website was showing LI Lumberjack as an ‘out of touch’ company due to their really dated and unmaintained website.  Online searchers will look negatively at companies with websites that are old and outdated. It was decided that a new, modern, website would be the best solution in their case since fixing their old site was not a good foundation to build upon.

A new Website Is A new Company Face

We’ve helped many companies of create their digital image. In some cases, organizations are hesitant to get ‘with the times’ because they feel they are not tech-savvy enough or they don’t understand how to manage a website. Other times, companies are too concerned about price. A business’s online presence (regardless of industry) has an incalculable impact on its success – for better or worse. In this day and age, some businesses don’t realize that a majority of their customers will visit their website first – then decide whether or not to patronize their store or use your services. Your website is (for all intents and purposes) your company’s face. Make sure yours is smiling!

Complete Service Listings And Details

Long Island Lumberjack had a one-page website with only 233 words on it. Total. It was decided that since Long Island Lumberjack provided and offered more than 30 different ‘services that each service was going to get its own dedicated section at most – or a page – at least. Potential clients were never aware of the extraneous services Long Island Lumberjack provided on top of the obvious ‘tree work’. We fixed that. The new, robust, modern, GoDaddy website has 54 pages of rich, detailed, image-laden content with at least 1,500 words per page to give each service its due and then some.

New Communication Options

Although LI Lumberjack is a relatively small company of less than 20 employees, communication was key between all 20 parties since all 20 were often in different areas of Long Island at the same time. We devised a more efficient way of routing communications in real time between the website, the owner, the directors and the field technicians across all of their communications platforms. Just the creation of a website alone – even without a ton of bells and whistles – was eons better than what they had in terms of communication between LIL and its clients – new and old.

LIL Metrics
Perfect Site Design And Great SEO Scores

Design is how visitors instantly judge your credibility, website security and make decisions about your brand and whether or not to stay on your site. The technical aspects of web design are often sacrificed in the name of ‘what looks good’. We were able to walk the line of beautiful, metaphorical design to code their site perfectly and still meet all of our own keyword, long tail KW, word count, SEO, PSI and coding best practice targets. This pleased both the LI Lumberjack executives and the good ‘folks’ at Google. The site slowly rose from only 25 visits per month to 1350 site visits per month.
